Marie YJ CHAE, Ph.D. is a Design Scientist & co-founder of Lifetechwear with a background in Fashion Design and Textile Science. Her research and creative activity interests include wearable technology, functional garments and smart textiles. She has conducted multidisciplinary projects on research and developing design and technology solution for innovative materials, protective products, and smart clothing system. She cares about the balance between life and technology, human and environment, now and future, especially in the three domains of healthcare, work, and education.
